Syv Søstre Skyrace was founded in 2025 by three friends and passionate runners – Morten Andreas Edvardsen, Pernille Nalum Duvholt, and Viktor Myrvang. Inspired by renowned trail and skyraces, they set out to showcase the raw beauty of the Helgeland coast to the trail running community.

Seven summits, one story

The Helgeland coast is home to one of Norway’s most iconic skylines — the Seven Sisters. Rising sharply from the sea, these seven summits have inspired awe for centuries, both as natural landmarks and through the old legend that tells of seven sisters fleeing under the midnight sun, only to be turned to stone at dawn.

Crossing all seven peaks in a single race means stepping into that story. The trails are rugged, the climbs steep, and the ocean never far from sight. With every summit you’ll feel the wild power of Helgeland — and with every descent, your quads will grow as heavy as the stones beneath your feet.

By the time you reach the finish line, you’ll have earned more than a result — you’ll have become part of a timeless tale of mountains, sea, and endurance.
